Latest Wedding Trends

How is it April already?! Now is the time to stalk Pinterest, scroll Instagram and start making plans for your incredible dream wedding. If you’re a lover of colourful installations or moody themed aesthetics, it seems that 2020 might just be the most epic year yet to plan a wedding. Read on to find out which wedding trends will be all the rage over the coming 12 months.

BALLOONS

Nobody can be uncheered by a balloon. This fun and festive flower alternative is taking 2018 by storm and can easily transform a space. String like a garland, suspend from the ceiling or shape into a wall installation. Pick your colours, and voila!

IT’S ALL ABOUT THE CAPE

Making their way down the runway and into the wedding trend world is the cape. Sheer or lace, a hooded style or a pearl-encrusted design. What’s not to love about this removable trend that’s a more fashion- forward take on the classic veil?

THE POTTED PLANT

Plants are well and truly a trend in home design, and now they’re sneaking their way into the wedded world. A trend we are seeing more and more is to pot your plants to line your aisle! The pots can be painted to fit your theme, and the creation can then be gifted to some of your nearest and dearest at the conclusion of the night!

DARK AND MOODY

Darker, detailed, and full of drama. 2019 saw soft, lush florals with lots of greenery. In 2020 we welcome a much darker style to help tell the story of happily ever after.

STATEMENT BACKS

From daringly low to sophisticated scoops and glitzy detailing, your back is now a focus in the wedding world. And why not? Making the back a focal point of your gown is a stylish and simple way to wow your guests in 2018.
